Anyone know of a source for heat shields to mount on foot box area. thanks in advance Bob

i dont know where to look for the heat sheilds. But I do know that the majority of guys use insulation from JC Whitney, or Summit. This is supposed to work really well. If it gets really hot, you may want to use a footbox venting system made by Cobra Earl. You can find link for him at ffcobra.com. Hope I helped ya buddy:3DSMILE:

Use the "Search" function. This topic has been disucssed in detail over numerous threads.

Essentially, you gotta do 2 things to keep your footwells from turning into toaster ovens:

1) Ceramic coat your headers inside and out.

2) Use double sided aluminum padding under your carpeting from the dash foreward.
