Tom: Im sorry I should have been more specific. I called them on Wednesday and I was quoted 83,000.00 on a turnkey spec racer. They sent me pic's. What a car.Their work is second to none. Very impressive.

Ernie, John and all.....

Thanks for the reply's. It's good to chat a bit. The restaurant, "Nonna's Cucina" is doing great! Just finished my first full quarter and we are already in the black! I'm told I'm in the top 1/10th of 1 percent. Most take about 18 months to 3 years to break even.

I'm just starting the process of looking so, not in a huge hurry. After all, it did take me 7 years to get my cobra on the road!!! ha ha. That won't happen this time!

As for the fit of the car. I'm 5'9" and 160 so it should fit snug like a glove, which is the way it should be!

I'll keep in touch....another 16 hour day is finally over!

Ciao for now....:)

I think the Daytona is a really trick automobile.........I really like the new SPF Coupe and can't wait to see it in person. Would most definately consider buying one of those!

John 550 10-23-2003 07:43 PM

The new SPF coupe look great in person !

OneFastRide 10-23-2003 07:59 PM

Photos do not do the Superformance/Brock Coupe justice. I spent about half an hour drooling over the absolutely gorgeous red coupe at the Olthoff's. The car must be seen in person to be appreciated. It is stunning. Anyone seriously considering a coupe needs to see one of these cars.

I know Daytona Coupes were on the scene first, but the Viper coupes look too much like the Cobra Coupes; granted, a little lower, wider, more bulbous, and longer, but the shape still looks like a copy. JMHO!

My SPF roadster is sold, as of today, the new owner will be here on Sat 11/1 to take it back to Oregon.
I've been working on getting a SPF coupe--(wife is hesitating, but I'll eventually wear her down:p) Have talked with the Rosen's and gotten all the info--if I order soon I'll more than likely have it running by April or early May
I will miss the roadster but I've always liked the Daytona Coupe--for me it just looks great

Edley guess he viper coupe does look something like the Daytona, but it's just an ugly knock-off IMO

At the last Monterey Historics, Cal, Snakeeyes and I were able to drag our guest Phil Remington over to reunite himself with Pete Brock, and he took some time to show Rem his new Coupe project.

If it makes any difference to anyone looking at the SPF Coupe, Rem gave the new car a "Thumbs-up" and was quite impressed. Something that he rarely does to cars built by someone other than himself.
