When is your favorite time to drive?

I drove it a LOT when I first completed it, but now I'm becoming a little more picky about when I take it out. I've driven to work several times and have found that medium and light traffic is a blast in this car. It's nothing to jump past 10 cars on a whim. The only problem is that it can jump from 70 to 100 so quickly, and in such a short distance, that I'm constantly having to monitor myself.

Summer nights are exceptional, but I rarely got a chance this year (new baby).

So when do you guys enjoy driving your cars most?

I enjoy driving mine when it is finished :D :p

Late afternoon in the fall or spring is best.

ANYTIME!!! Well, except for temperatures above, say, 90 degrees! And rainy weather!! Too squirrelly!!

late at night , enough heat coming up from the foot box to stay warm, the glowing ember of a good cigar, the headlights searching out the old back country roads.....

very early on Sunday morning and ending about noon when all the sunday drivers get out to occupy the roads.

Favority Time

Lets see--

I've had the car for just over a year--and have 10,000+ miles on it--

So, the best time?? When I have to get from point A to point B--and take the A-C-D-E-B run (this is always an hour)--

When the sun is shinning (see above)--

When I have a few minutes--(see above)

When---oh, you get the picture-----anytime!!:D

Either very early in the am or very late at night. It's cooler, and there are fewer 'chicanes' to get in your way.

It's all in the memories the road brings back. Back in the Mid 60's, i got my first car, a Triumph TR-4, in Lincoln. From time to time, i would drive back, straight thru, on the back roads (could not afford the 10 bucks worth of I-80 toll roads, so went highway 30 cross country to DC, about 1200 or so miles. Never stopped, just straight thru, in that little reliable TR.

When i would leave Lincoln, it was always after college class, in the evening, and when i got to Omaha, i went to the right around the city, heading east, with the big adventure about to start.

So when i am out driving, it is dusk, and the road is all mine, i tend to think back so many years to that turn to the right at Omaha, the sun setting over my shoulder.

Drove that little TR 44,000 miles in the 11 months i owned it, got a B the next year. Always have been partial to small, nimble cars.

I have a little 200+ mile run tomorrow, leaving well before dawn again, heading down towards GA. Chris and I just changed the Oil and Filter in his Boxster out in the garage. How much satisfation to work on sports cars with a son. I have raised him to be a Car Guy, too.
