Trunk Hinges - Where can I get these?

These style trunk hinges are on my Anrtz/Butler Cobra. I need to locate a source for them. I've tried Finishline, Ron Butler and Moss motors, and keep finding the wrong size. I imagine these were originally from some other English car, or they may be used on other kits.

They are exactly 7" long. Slanted for each side with 4-studs in each hinge. Where can I get a (right and left) set of these?. Thanks for your help. Alan.

Don, FF5's only have 3 studs and I think they are shorter than 7"
EUROPA has a hinge with 4 studs that looks like it fits a Triumph.

How bout these!

Alan/Photoguy,

Compare Part no. RFK832, 1959 TR3 Bonnet Hinge Kit. (800) 283-3723. Kit has two hinges, R&L, with gaskets and each hinge has 4 studs. Appears to be about 7" long. Good Luck.

Hi all,

If all else fails I used a set of British Mini minor door hinges.

They have slight taper. The bottom hinge is even more tapered. I just filed them both flat.

Cost was $10 Aust. for both from British wreckers here. You should find them easily.

They are the correct size as requested. Have the four posts which holds them securely.

Cheers

The hinges as pictured were used on Truimphs Tr 3,4,4A and 5.
I just fabricated a set from a MGB bonnet/hood hinges after alot of trial and effort and they worked to get the effect of concealing the hinges.
The trick is to mount the horizontal bar as high as possible when using the MGB components
so as you get the right swing and radius inside the boot acavity.

yes they are TR3 hinges, and yes they are the same ones used on the west coast cobra and Kellison stallions

Moss motors stocks them and original triumph show up on Ebay from time to time.

I've got a pair in my garage I'm not using. PM me if you want them. I'm pretty sure the ones I have are only 3-stud though.

Photoguy:
These are exactly what I have on my West Coast Cobra. Against my better judgement to contact Vern at cobra kit and you might get them from him.
You might want to contact the NY West Coast Cobra dealer Perry Adams . I will send you a PM with his email he might have better luck with Vern. But these hinges are really nice.
Sincerely
