Floor mounted Gas Pedal Info
My Backdraft has hanging pedals installed in it. The clutch and the brake pedals are fine, but the gas pedal is too close to the drivers seat and at an awkward angle to be comfortable for me.
There is however plenty of room in the foot box to relocate a floor mounted pedal closer to the fire wall. I did a search, but the thread only addressed sets of floor mounted pedals. I have seen pictures of pedals that are used in street rods in magazines. They look like they should work, but thought I would ask here first before going that route. Any information such as sources, pictures, installation suggestions, or comments would be greatly appreciated. Bud |
