How Long Does Team III Take....

Well, Rick, seems mfgrs. get substantially better treatment than the rest of us. I did order directly thru Scott; pull info off his website for ordering, gave him my credit card info on that sheet, was told by Scott to figure on a maximum of 4 weeks till they would be in my hands and then waited fully eight (8) weeks for delivery. After four weeks I called him about every third day to try and get updates (and maybe push a little...). Scott generally answered the phone, was always genial, but described how he was unable to get any foundry to cast the center sections without flaws, cracks, etc. - that he had been thru (at that point) about 20 different foundries and was at their mercy. Having had some experience with similar ventures I was inclined to believe him; after all, he did answer the phone and was willing to talk to me. Further, I was told it was a good thing I wanted 15" wheels as getting the 17" centers was proving damn near impossible. Good thing indeed, I suppose, but nevertheless it took every minute of 8 weeks. Should have had them in September and got them in November. We get snow here. I guess I should have ordered them earlier on.

Scott did tell me that if anything should happen to a wheel, he could straighten them or replace the rim....but FREE was most certainly not a part of the conversation. I bought only 4 wheels....I suspect you buy a few more than that. Do you think that may be why you are able to extract more-timely deliveries and extended service?
