I WANT TO ORDER A SERVICE MANUAL FROM"HELM" IN CHICAGO.
I'M ONLY INTERESTED IN SECTIONS REGARDING THE 427 S/O AND THE 4 SPEED TOP LOADER. HELM DOES NOT CATALOG THEIR MANUALS BY ENGINE - ONLY BY CAR NAME AND YEAR. WHAT MODEL AND YEAR WOULD BE MY BEST BET TO ORDER TO GET THE INFO ON THE 427 ENGINE AND TOPLOADER???? THANKS VERY MUCH AND - Y'ALL HAVE A REALLY GREAT DAY. BLACKJACK |

I have a '67 Cougar that I bought from my Mom after my Dad died. I needed a manual for it and bought a book through a local Ford dealer titled: 1967 COUGAR FAIRLANE FALCON MERCURY- INTERMEDIATE MUSTANG SHOP MANUAL The title of the book is arranged on the cover as shown above. This book has a section on the 427 S/O and the Top Loader. I believe that I have seen this manual offered by "Classic Motor Books". (At least I think that is what they are called, I used to get cataloges in the mail from them all the time.). |
!963 1/2 Galaxie 500... Car with an R in the serial number. Thats the higher compression 427 with 2 4 barrels from the factory.
