correct block paint color
I am starting to detail the block on the 427 and was wondering what is the correct color for this.I prefer ford blue but if black is more correct I may go with it.Also who makes a good block paint ?(preferably brush on since engine is not torn down). chuck

Black is the correct color for the block.
Eastwood has paint for just about every application. |
Black is the color for FORD FE and small block engines thru May 65.
In June the color was changed to Ford Blue. Ford Medium Blue, Dupli-Color DE-1606 Engine Black, Dupli-Color DE-1613 |
