im new
hey guys. Im only 15. I stumbled across this site and thought it was pretty cool. My dream car is a 1968 shelby gt 500 w/ a 428 cobra jet. Candy apple red with white racing stripes. Man, could somebody give me a price estimate of how much one of these baby's would cost? All the ones ive seen have been like 60k-80k. Thanks
p.s. my name is refering to my pickup. I have a 1962 ford f-100 custom cab w/ a 292. |
Hi...
I am happy you found the site, my first car was a 59 Ford Panel with a 292.
Hope Club Cobra will help you with your dreams.:3DSMILE: Scott S |
good things generally come to those who are patient, and work hard. I don't know what a GT costs, probably a lot. One could build up a "clone"a lot cheaper than a "real" one, and have just as much fun.
In the meantime, stay focused on your academics, and set yourself some lofty goals, and persevere. all the best, |
You have exceptional taste for a 15 year old, prices have sky rocketed in the last 20 years on all Shelby mustang cars,I bought my KR 25 years ago for $2,000, a 36,000 mile car that the second owner drag raced, this same car is worth $75K to 85$I bought this car because it was my dream car at the time and is still my favorite, thats why I still own it. Stick to the books ,go to college, get a good paying job and someday your dream car will be in your garage. Tout0001
