How do I post a photo of my car?
Ok, I give up. I did a search for instructions on how to post/upload a photo from my hard drive. I found a detailed description, but I can't get past first base! %/
When I go to the Member Gallery I cannot find an upload photo icon, word/s, button etc. prompting me to copy and paste etc. Can any one help me here? :) |
Go to club members gallery, in upper right corner you will see
upload photo. Click on it and follow the fill in the blanks. At the bottom you click on upload/submit. |
I for got, open the browse box and select the location of your photo( A- drive or what ever drive it's in) select the photo and it will show up in the browse box Then you submit.....

I MUST be f---n blind. After I go to Club Cobra Memebers Gallery there is absolutely no upper right corner with upload photo to click on. Gosh, do I need someone to hold my hand in the dark? Still runnin' on flat tires. Thanks for your patience.

Zoom,
Go up and click on the picture of Brent's Cobra. That will take you to a page to go to the member galleries or others. That is the page you want. Look above where it says Members galleries and you will see the upload button there with a couple of others. Ron :) |
Member gallery
I started a gallery when I first joined and I posted about a dozen pics there. Now, a year later I can't get in to the point where I can add pics to my gallery.
Who has the solution? Where do I go and how do I add pics? Tony |
Tony,
I just clicked the camera icon and went to your gallery. The upload picture line is on the right side above the pictures that you have loaded. Click that and then do the browse and you should be able to upload with no problem. If not contact me and we will work it out. Ron :) http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...6345fuji14.jpg |

you have to be logged on to upload pictures. got that. How do you get photos into the THREAD? I can get them to gallery, but how do you get them in a thread???!!!
Kristen (not trying to change the original subject, but seems to be on the same line...) |
Hey little cobra,
To put pictures directly into a post they must be less than 39K I think it is. Then look at the bottom of the post you want the picture in and on the left hand side you will see an attach file and browse button. The rest is just like adding them to your gallery. If you want to link to the gallery picture, then go expand it and right click, choose properties, and about the center of that page will be the URL line. Highlight the complete line and cut it. Then come start your post and when you get to the point you want to insert the picture clink on the IMG tag above the post. that will open a box near the top of the screen and you paste the pictures complete URL into that box and click Ok. Then when anyone opens the post they will see your picture that is actually in the gallery. Ron :) |
uhhh, yeah, thanks, Ron. I'm sure I'll follow that on the first try!!:D :D I'm gonna have to print this entire thread so i can follow those thorough yet somewhat intimidating instructions!:JEKYLHYDE :JEKYLHYDE :JEKYLHYDE :JEKYLHYDE
I just wanted to post a really funny picture from last Saturday's drive around White Rock Lake in Dallas in the thread about it. (Dallas group). The thread will be gone by the time I assimilate all those instructions!!!:D Hey, here's an idea. I put the photo in my gallery, then one of you computer wizzes can upload it to the thread.... hmmmmm ... I'll be thinking.... thanks again!! Kristen |

Hey Cobra,
E-mail me and I will send you a step by step procedure for doing this. http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...C00089-med.JPG Ron :) Also Brent put a test section at the very bottom of the Forum page where you can go and make test posts and they won't show up on the rest. I use it quite a bit. |
alright
stayed up half the night trying to figure this out. I think the problem is my picture is more than 40000 k. They seem to be around 61 k or something. Of course, that must not be it because YOU got one of my pictures to post!!! I'll email you Ron. THANKS!
kristen p.s. i hate to admit failure... Had my "avatar" posted the first night on Club Cobra, and pictures in my gallery, too. Can't see what I'm missing!! :JEKYLHYDE |
