Morris,
Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!! You have picked the best reproduction of the original car that there is. Not to mention all of the cool updates as far as suspension bits and general overall fabrication details. Nobody does a better job than the Kirkham’s of capturing the essence and technology of the of 60’s. Great to hear that they can stuff your “frame” into that bad boy. Once again, GREAT CHOICE !!!!!! |
Richard,
Many thanks for the kind words. David:) :) :) |

That name doesn't ring a bell..... I think that happens when you get a little older.... Richard Your Technology is second to none and your professional words of wisdom carry many years of knowledge and experience... I keep saying that this is not a race car..... but sometimes the feelings are hard to hold back and you want to be back in the seat with the competition and speed ..... I sure hope that seat is big enough.... and the pedals fit..... I don't miss all of the nights and the hard work it took to be successful. |
Morris,I am installing a 427so with a 428 crank,Edelbrock heads with dove roller rockers and billet stands, forged pistons and H beam rods, solid roller cam and a victor intake with BIGGS carb.It should be quite a ride.I got the stainless steel frame option on my car with the polished stripes, fortunately I am only 5-8 so I fit pretty well. Good Luck with yours. chuck

Chuck,
You and I couldn't play basketball when we were growing up. I can't tell you the number of times I got "rejected." David:) :) :) |
Morris:
Congratulations...you will have a blast. I finished KMP 142 about a year ago, and it has only been smiles since that time. I am a stickler for authenticity, and as Richard said, these cars are the closest you are going to come to the Thames Ditton cars of the 1960's. It is also well worth mentioning that a major part of the positive experience of owning one of these masterpieces is the opportunity to know and work with the Kirkham family...a nicer group of people would be very, very hard to find. So, get ready for the experience of your life, and welcome to the Kirkham owners family. If you need any help or advice, I am glad to participate. Bud:JEKYLHYDE :JEKYLHYDE :JEKYLHYDE |
