WHERE CAN I FIND A CAR MATH SITE?

I WOULD LIKE TO CALCULATE INJECTOR SIZE FOR A STROKER AND ROD RATIO.

THANKS DWIGHT

Dwight you can estimate injector size by using the following.

Inj size in lb/hr = HP x 0.5 /#cyl x 0.8

The 0.5 is the estimated brake specific fuel consumption. That is the amount fuel required to produce one HP for one hour. 0.5 is an average value for most nomrally aspirated motors. The 0.8 is to account for not running the injectors beyond 80% duty cycle.

Example: For a 600HP motor you will need 46lb/hr injectors.

Again, this is a good estimate, you may want smaller or larger injectors depending on your HP output, type of driving and whether you are supercharged.

Rod ratio is the rod to stroke ratio. The length of the con rod, pin to pin divided by the crankshaft stroke. So for a late model 302 it would be 5.091/3 = 1.697

Hope this helps...
