I think Ford completely nailed the new Mustang design! There's definitely one of those in my future, but I suspect there's a Cobra version on the SVT boards for sometime after 05, and I'd probably rather wait. Any news on that?

I have seen some prototypes but nothing set in stone yet. The original 2005 Mustang concept car had sequential taillights. I bet the Shelby GT600 or whatever they call it will have them. It would be awesome if they put the new V10 that is in the new Cobra concept into a 2005-2006 Shelby Mustang. Just say the "heck" with all the legislators and insurance problems and "let her rip!"

Actually, the latest Car and Driver that just hit my doorstep yesterday had some very good information. I have not read the article entirely, but it unfortunately sounds like the next SVT version will be quite a bit more expensive. Ford says with the refinement of the new chassis, they are aiming for more of a BMW M3 hunter. Come one Ford. Give me a break. It's a muscle car. That means low price/ high performance. Here's an idea. You have this division called 'lincoln' drifting aimlessly that four years ago was going to have a rebirth and compete with BMW. Why not concentrate there and leave what is a performance bargain alone. Just my $.02.
Cheers

I agree the new Mustang hits the nail on the head. They finally are making something people really want. Does anyone have an idea if they will put the 5.4 in it?
