SAAC Does Vegas 8
 

YOU’RE INVITED TO SHELBY AUTOMOBILES AND THE MINI NATS AT THE LAS VEGAS HEADQUARTERS.

The Shelby American Automobile Club will be in Las Vegas for SAAC does Vegas 8 this February the 13th – 15th.

This is a great time to see all kinds of Shelby products and tour the factory where they are built. See original CSX4000’s, 7000’s and 8000’s in production and see for yourself the components that go into these hand built cars. In addition we are running the cars at the 2.4 mile outside road course on Saturday the 14th so that you can test you machinery and see all of our cars perform at speed. This is a much larger more challenging track than the inside course we used in past events and with more space cars can really stretch their legs. Sunday is the day we will host tours of the facilities and the museum and we will have a barbeque lunch for all in attendance.

We are in the process of moving back into our larger facility and with new projects expanding operations. We have secured the Series 1 parts and so those options are again available from the factory and can be retro fit to any existing cars. Carroll himself most always makes an appearance and with the return alliance with Ford and the latest Cobra concept and V10 605HP power plant things are looking brighter every day.

We will be there with CSX4266 (with brand new fuel injection) & the Bondostang. Keith even said he might make it out. I'm putting a fresh pair of slicks on the Mustang for you to drive. It's a gas!!! See you in Feb.:D

How is it going over there in Shelby-Land? I have talked to you in a while, and was wondering how things are going? Have you guys moved back into the old/new facility yet? How is the build going over there?

I would like to stop by sometime and see you and Bob, and everyone.

The ultimate "E" ticket ride (if your old enough to know what an "E" ticket was) is having that crazed Patterson fellow take you out in a force fed Series 1. To say that Gary enjoys his job is an understatement.

You are right about that, Jamo!!! I got my ride in the Series 1 with Gary last year at Winter SAAC! He definately can drive!:D

Open to Ford powered cars. Replicas, Cobras, Shelby's, Mustangs, Tigers. JAMO is correct about that Series 1, What a neck snapper.
