body shop paint work in (north) New Jersey
Updated - any recomendation of a shop in north jersey ??
Hey Gang - does anyone have a recommendation for a good body shop preferably in new jersey to paint my COBRA ? I am looking for a detailed near show quality job 4-5k ??? The body is in prime and needs the usual cleanup - fixes and considerable blocking to get it right. I have spent alot of time building a relaible car and would hate to end up with a bad paint job. I would definately feel more comfortable with a shop recommendation that has COBRA body experience. It seems local shops are just not into it. Thanks - |
There is a shop here in Connecticut (their name escapes me) that ERA is sending some rollers to. I have seen some of their work and it is outstanding. You may want to call ERA or ask on the ERA forum here on Club Cobra. A few guys here on the board have had their Cobras shot by this guy and I tell you his work is a marvel. I know nothing about his prices.

cody201 Cody call ERA and ask for there painter. He does a great job. Era cars have some of the nices paint jobs I have seen. It is an art to work and paint fiberglass. Rick Lake

Doctors Autobody in Dover, NJ. 973-328-4920. Cost will depend on who's body it is, and how much work it will need to get it super smooth for a "almost show quality" paint job or better. Speak with Anthony, tell him I sent you and that I said for you to call him anal (he'll take it as the joke it is meant as, honest)..........He will really want to see the body before quoting, as any quality shop would want. if they don't ask to see it first, then there is something wrong with them..............
