The DVSF II Coupe is home!! Tony Ripepi's car hits the ground! High-Res Pics Inside
Last night, Tony's long awaited birth of his new FFR Coupe came to an end. His new baby rolled of the back of the delivery truck from Ed "DV" Combs shop (short stay at his brothers) and into Tony's garage.
After a few minor problems (if you count me dropping a flashlight into the bellhousing minor)Tony took his new ride for a spin. Here are some very high res pics. I will post a few more when I have time that are at a little lower resolution. Good job Tony!!! For those of you that don't know, Tony won the kit in the Double Venom Spring Fling II raffle in 2002. We look forward to seeing this car every Saturday Tony! http://home.comcast.net/~scottingham2/coupe.jpg http://home.comcast.net/~scottingham2/coupe2.jpg http://home.comcast.net/~scottingham2/Smiles.jpg |

Hi Guys,
Thanks Brent...... Put almost 100 miles on it today.......This one outruns and out handles every Cobra I have driven and that includes the two that are in the garage and the two that I have sent down the road to live with other people. Jay and DV have outdone thrmselves on the fit , finish and over all performance in the Coupe. I'll be at Athens this Saturday.... Thanks to all, Tony R. |
Beautiful!
The smile and the car. Enjoy Gary |
I love that second photo !!!
Two beautiful cars and a great looking house to go with it. Enjoy the new toy ! |
Thanks Craig,
Been in the house for 17 + years raised my kids here, three of the four garages have Cobras in them now.........guess I'll need to have the storage lift installed to make more room. Just checked with the back yard Buddy folks and the lift will be delivered here late next week. Best Regards, Tony R. |
New ride
Hey Tony it's been a long time coming eh?
But I'm sure you will agree it was worth the wait. Iv'e seen this car numerous times through the build as my car was in their shop at the same time. From the begining, at different stages of build, and lastly when it went through Chicago last time, I got to sneek a peek at it. All I can say is I want one way too much!!!!!! :3DSMILE: I'm green with envy :3DSMILE: Seriously Tony, Beautiful ride. The best of luck with it and hopefully get to see it again at DVSF4. Happy trails !!! |
That's one sweet ride! You're a lucky man:cool:

Tony - I remember the 'phone call where you found out you had won. It was my first (but not my last) Spring Fling.
Nice to see the finished car home with you. |
Thanks Wilf,
When the Coupe came off of the trailer the "Gasholes" were well represented. Trying to work out the schedule for DVSF IV .... Tony R. |
Beautiful car Tony.......
Very nice job! I'll have to make it out for breakfast soon, cause I would sure love a ride around the block. By the way, I also have to say that is one nice house. - Bill - |
