YO guys - I just want to thank you all. All of you have been a tremendous help to me since I joined the forum a few short weeks ago.
(I know it's a drastic departure from the above discussion about the Cherner Contemporary but . . . .) Just to shout it out (cause I'm feeling pretty stoked about it) I ordered the "beast" (as Roscoe put it) last Friday(!!) The bid (it was a close race) goes to Sonny with A&C - I sent him a check to get started, and another to John York to get him started running down the engine/drive train. Give me about a year (from what I'm told), and I should be running with you guys (or trying to keep up anyway). . . Once again, can't thank you guys enough. Please stand by for questions as I go through the process, and please stand by for another baby addition to the family. Can't wait to drive it home!! Congratulations.....the key was to just do it. You can research yourself crazy if you're not careful. A competent builder can turn almost any decent kit into a very nice Cobra replica if it's done right with good components. The VI is on EVERY Sat. I even made one of my rare appearances from Annapolis last Sat. Hope to see you there sometime soon. |
