1g RACING

While visiting Dynamic Motorsports in Ross, Ohio yesterday, I also had the chance to check out the Nobles at 1g Racing. Man, what a work of art.........these cars are down right awesome.

Brian: You're right.......these cars are SWEET! I was at Dynamic a few weeks ago as well, and noticed them sitting in the warehouse when I went back to check out the Cobra's they had in. I never even knew they had them! Since then, they have shipped a few to my area (to a guy I know that's taking orders for them at his dealership) and I have been able to check them out even closer. VERY well made, and (not surprisingly) a beautiful paint job. They are supposed to handle like a dream (too much snow around here to find out) and are also VERY quick. One of the cars that were sold had a 400+HP twin turbo in it. Considering how light these things are, Cobra owners better take note when one is coming up in your rear view mirror!

Nice pictures by the way. I took some while I was there but used my 35mm and couldn't post them here. Too bad, because I took some nice shots of the Brock Coupe as well.

I wonder why they aren't listed on their website? I can't believe Dynamic and 1G RACING wouldn't want to try and work something out as far as advertising goes.

Terry ~ I listed their website at top of this thread. Got to see Dave's new ride yesterday.......pretty sweet and what a beautiful color combo!!

Dean took me for a test ride in a Noble last fall and you are correct, they are unbelieveably fast. The quickest car I have ever been in hands down. If I ran across one of these while driving the cobra I'd have to just wave and try to find the 1st side street to try and get away.

Hey Bud - Did you happen to get any pic's of Dave's new ride? He said he went with a BMW dark blue (I've seen it on Bimmers and it must look awsome on a Cobra body!). I sent him an e-mail yesterday, but have yet to hear back from him.
So, how about YOU??? ......What were YOU doing at Dynamic the other day? Placing an order........or something??:D
Why am I always the last to know? ;)

SPF GT40 !!!!!

I think the Noble is a great car... typical Hi-Tech superior fit & finish, super fast and handles fantastic.

However...

I want the new GT40 !!!

I've been following the threads about it on the GT40 forum... The roller is priced in the mid 50's and knowing the quality SPF produces... well it should be outstanding.

And it's a Mk II... so you can go big block or small block !!!!

How is the room inside? It look pretty speacious legwise, but what about height?

clayfoushee 01-26-2004 08:44 AM

I'm wondering the same as JW. I would be very interested in the car, but would a 6'2" individual fit?

Dave Rodak 01-26-2004 11:12 AM

Guys,

There is plenty of head & leg room. We're of similar height and I got in & out with a hat on with no issues. There is an integrated full cage inside as well... subtle but very strong. It's a well engineered vehicle.

What engines are they set up for? How about transaxles?

Pete

bnewell 01-26-2004 12:50 PM

I am 6'-1" and did not have any problems fitting in the car or driving it. There are actually 2 different seats available for the Noble depending on the drivers size. I found the car to be very comfortable.

Just talked to Dyanmic. 6'5" headroom. Ford V-6 Twin-Turbo, 350+ HP, Gertrag 6-speed.

PSB 01-26-2004 01:45 PM

So a V-6 is the only option? If they're only getting 350 hp out of a twin turbo V-6, it would be a lot more cost effective to put in a V-8. Would a 302 or 351W fit?

Pete

clayfoushee 01-26-2004 03:24 PM

I was told it's only set up for the Twin-Turbo V-6, but I may have understated the HP. It is a 1600 lbs. roller minus engine, in a total neutral car!
