I saw some Freightliner switches that have a similar look, but were made much better. May be worth looking into?

Over the years, Lucas electrics have deservedly earned a reputation for failing at just the precise moment, like after dark when you need your headlights...:p

Acton Electronics has some that are "similar" to Lucas and use silver contacts with silver plated terminals. While they are only half the price of Lucas they are not absolutely identical in appearance to the Lucas. See link below for description with photo.
