What color is the #7 car? Royal Blue? Guardsman?

It's Carroll Shelby Blue. Just like the one next to it. They were batched 5 at a time and who knows how and why they were different. No 5 seemed to be exactly alike.

Viking Blue was a lot lighter than the royal blue shown. It had almost a silver/metallic look to it.

I've seen that color before it's very close to Cobalt Blue.
Of course, I've been drinking, so... maybe it's green.

I have seen it in person. Call it what ever you want. To me it looked purple.

Its not Guradsman blue.

The PPG Guardsman blue formula is:

Global guardsman;

D742 - 839 - 4
D771 - 1571 - 8
D754 - 1864 - 2
D740 - 1880 - 8
D753 - 1890 - 4

Just get your paint shop to mix some up. Spray it on a panel.

I can guarantee that it will look exactly the colour of the 427 car that Miles etc. used/raced.

The other colour appears to be the Royal blue. However, if you are considering that colour I would suggest that you check the colour on a car in the flesh (so to speak).

Here, I would chase up a Superformance owner/s. SPF use both the Guardsman colour and the Royal blue.

The SPF web site does have some details but again its hard to make a decision unless you see the car.

Good luck with your choice. My car is still in Gel coat and it goes in in April for colour. Will Post new photos then.

You might also look at a PPG Chrysler color called "Patriot Blue." It's on my GT-350 clone (I didn't put it there, but I have the left-overs in a can from the previous owner), and it looks the same, but you can't trust digital pictures on a computer monitor. It is a nice color.

It's very similar to a color Shelby offered called Sapphire Blue, on the 66 GT-350s.
