Ca. expo car show
I got to see a couple CSX2000's series Cobras tonight.
I can't remember the CSX #'s. The Sacramento AutoRama had in one corner of one building, a group of Cobras. USRRC stuff. All the cars, including the replicas were pristine. Kind of wished I still showed mine. Ughhh! Too many Q-tip and tooth brush memories. One car immediately caught my eye. It was a Stallion Cobra and was radically wider and longer than the original specs. The width expansion looked wicked but the length extension, I didn't care much for. Anyway, if you live within driving distance to Sac., check out the show. Stunning original classic muscle cars of every kind. The March issue of Automobile has a good lengthy article on the new Shelby Ford Cobra. Boy, I don't know if that front end design should fly like it is? |
Hey Bluesman,
FYI: Various Cobras in that group you saw at this year's AutoRama are members and friends of the NorCal Shelby club, Sacramento Chapter. Mostly local guys from the surrounding Sacramento area. If you are interested, the next club meet is going to be at Brookfields (new location now) corner of Sunrise and Folsom if you want to join or check it out. Its the first Wednesday/6:00 of every month and we drive the cars when its not raining. |
Duane;
Thank you for the info. I will see you up at Brookfield's one of these wednesdays. |
