New track in the works

There is a group that is attempting to bring a new top level race track to Central California. Keep an eye on this one it will be good. It is located on what was previously Castle Air Force Base. It used to house a huge squadron of B-52's and was a major training center for pilots. Currently there is a fair sized static display of aircraft including a B36, B52, SR71 Blackbird and many many more, if you are any where nearby it is worth the trip.
Keep your fingers crossed, this would definately be an asset to the motorsport community.

Yup...and per our offline e-mails, our SCCA Chapter and the SFR Region have been there supporting it.

One glitch...they trying to bring a National Guard Rescue air squad to Castle.

Hey, btw...autocross at Castle on March 7. I'm taken the daughter out in her Turbo Bug, Turk might show with a like vehicle off the lot, and Pat Buckley may break in his new Westfield "7". Come and join us.
