enclosed trailer ramps
hi all i was wondering on ramps for an enclosed trailer. i am looking a t a trailer with double doors. i would like ramps which are light weight. if anyone has pics or suggestions that would be great oh its ramps for my cobra thanks Neil:MECOOL:

Neil, I would recommend getting ramps that are 18" wide or therebouts. I noticed when setting up my trailer that standard 12" wide ramps made me a bit nervous when no one was guiding me into the trailer. If you have significantly different widths on the front vs the rear tires, it's more difficult to optimize the ramp spacing. I feel far more secure with the wider ramps.

If you haven't purchased the trailer yet, I would STRONGLY suggest buying one with a ramp door. Over time you will be glad you did.

A ramp door attached to a beaver tail trailer with a flipover 5' ramp extension... and even then you may need a lumber yard to support the door at the right angle to get that ever so low nose of a Cobra into the trailer without incident. Nothing like ripping off the oil cooler housing...
