Movie trailer
Over the past summer I was asked to bring my car to a location where a production co. was filming a movie and music video. I don't really know what the movie will be about but I do know the music in the music video sucked! Rap or something. The race scenes were fun though. The Police had the whole length of a street blocked off and watched as the production co. paired off cars to race. No one was actually supposed to "race" but everyone did anyway. I was trying to get myself lined up to run one of the Vipers or Z06 vettes but as luck would have it, they paired me off with some racetrack reject that no one wanted to race. It had slicks and a NOS system. He yanked me right from the start while I spun. The good thing was I got to race him a month later at the track & trailered him good! You'll see a quick glimpse of my car toward the end of the clip. I could be wrong but I doubt this will be nominated for any awards...

Yippers! Don't ask me what my sidepipe is actually doing in that picture...it doesn't sit like that normally and it wasn't like that after that pass. I'm guessing that since the 'starters' hands are down I've already popped the clutch, maybe the pipes shake? I have home video from the track & though I've watched my launches in slow-mo I've never seen them do this.

Check your motor mounts.
Looks like it was a fun experience.

Ron, Yes it was fun! I see you're from LI, are you familiar with Edison ave. by all the Pinelawn military cemetaries? The Suffolk Police actually shut down the length of of the road for 2 hours for filming. It was funny racing towards SCPD units and having to brake hard to avoid slamming into them! I think they should film a "movie" there every weekend! Except maybe move the police cars down the road a bit...
