Baffled exhaust pipe

I am wondering if anyone knows if baffled exhaust pipe is available. I Had a 69 Camero Z/28 that had an exhaust system made up of baffled exhaust pipe with no mufflers...it sounded great. Is it available through a manufactor. Thanks for the hel[p

I've been trying to get info on some parts from car chemistry to quiet my car down a little. they have inserts for at the header and also have inserts that I believe slide in the end of the exhaust. I have tried emailing them for information but they don't respond. Their parts are available at Summit Racing

I know in the 60's a company called Walker made a chambered exhust system {pipe} for the 442's and some other muscle cars.
Hope this helps.

Are the inserts a cone perforated insert? I have just started experimenting with them.

You have access to them there. Just cannot recall the website.

I used a perforated plate/sheet and marked them out and then hammered and bent them into shape.

Will give you feedback once running. Details 1/8 holes. Cones ended up 4" long with a 1/2 " hole in top end. Hammered larger end so that it is a tight fit in pipe. Two spots to hold in place. If they work will weld further. Because they are coned shaped that have a lot more surface area/holes to let gases through.

Cheers

Bernie
