Who is that scrawny red headed guy in Brents Cobra?:3DSMILE:
Brent it seems you have many things to be proud of, Scott S |
Hi Brent
May I be permitted to add some TransAtlantic congratulations on your impeccable good taste. I have to make a forty minute drive to the Hawk workshops buried away in deepest East Sussex for my "Kirkham Fix". There are usually 3 or 4 in various stages of build (plus a 289 MkII) so I can understand what you are going through!! All I need to do is hand over the necessary amount of cash.....but then they prize my death-like grip from the bodywork and throw me into the street. One day..... |
Brent,
Enjoy your new Kirkham - it is fantastic! Thanks to the Kirkhams for upgrading Brent's new ride. As thankless as Brent's works seems to be at times it is great to see someone provide one big Thank You to Brent and his family. Brent- are you using the motor out of your old car? |
Brent,
Congratulations. It's a drop-dead gorgeous chassis. That stainless steel undercarriage is awesome. Enjoy it. |
WHOOOOEEEEE!!
That's gorgeous...just gorgeous. Congratulations, Brent. |
Awesome Brent.
|
Congrats Brent, your car looks great!
How many times have you gone to the garage just to stare at your car or to see if it's all a dream? Jeff |
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!! Love that shot of it coming off the trailer. Outstanding.
|
Scott, I've lost 100lbs somewhere along the way.....For that I am really excited.
Trevor, this may be the only time I have displayed impeccable taste; you should see my 1971 Ford pickup. :) HIQ, I am grateful for what David and the gang did...VERY generous. As for the engine, I'll be using a 390 I have at least for the time being. sierramadre45/Lowell W/ToyCollector, thanks fellas! U-2 Driver, unfortunately I have a one car garage and my wife collects antiques, so there's just way too much stuff at my house to have an aluminum Cobra in the garage, so it's at my folk's place about a mile down the road. I've not visited this much in several years! :) Cal, thanks. Coming from one who owns an original means there's something right about that thing. I love her. |
No wonder you and Sherrie were smiling in Texas last weekend!
|
Brent,
Best of luck with your new Cobra! The workmanship is outstanding. You have to post pics to keep us up to date on the completion. Stop pinching your self! |
Congrats!
Brent.... Congrats! Looks awesome!
Listen to Jamo, get a lot of stock of windex and scotchbrite....:3DSMILE: All the best! Shaps |
Brent-
I see you have the sanded body - start out with 220 grit in that case :) Pat |
Congrats!!!!
Now we have to see what we can do to bring you, Sherrie and your car to the next TCC spring event.
Very nice! Keith |
