curious about the worth of a Mustang Cobra II
I'm trying to find out about how much my dad's car is worth. Its a 1977 Mustang Cobra II with the 302. The engine with just a little work will run good. the body has some rust and the interior has some problems but isnt horrible. He's thinking about selling it and cant decide what to ask for. I'm trying to get him to restore it or give it to me but hes not biting on that. I was hoping someone could tell me what its worth and maybe I'd find somebody thats interested.

Seth, Just checking some ads quickly, I found 3 from $400.00 to $3,500.00. Get a local car dealer to ballpark a price for you. Good luck!

If the body has rust, and the car is not currently running properly, then it is going to be on the lower of the value spectrum. Figure he should be asking $1,100-$1,400 and take anything over $900-$1,000.....Without a far greater detailed description, that is the best guestimate that I can give you........ Bill S. |
I bought one a few years ago for $75. It had a good steering rack for a core return. The spindles work great on my cobra. Jim
