Performance Cars Venom 427 - Notice to present and future customers
1 Attachment(s)
We at Performance Cars want to let our past and future customers know that Team-C-Racing is no longer our national distributor and we are no longer doing business with Team-C-Racing. We have opted to distribute our own products and have opened a distribution/showroom facility in Boca Raton, Florida. Over the next year we will be setting up a dealer network to cover distribution and customer support across the US. We are currently busy screening dealer applications and welcome any further applicants.
For dealer interest our product line currently includes the Venom 427 cobra and special order Ultima GTR's out of Great Britain. By the end of 2004 we will have another 2 replicas in our product line-up. Our new location is : Performance Cars USA 117 N.W. 11th Street Boca Raton FL. 33432 For those customers in Florida that is approximately 1/2 mile west of the US1 on the South side of Glades Road. Thank you to all our customers that have supported us in our past association with Team-C-Racing, and rest assured we will continue to provide you with the best possible service and products. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Regards, Ross Sinclair Performance Cars USA www.performcars.com rossasinclair@earthlink.net (561) 289 3730 |

Almost bought a car from them too, boy am I happy I didn't now !!

FYI,
I got my car from Team-C in Nov 03. Just want to relay my experience with Team-C and Ross Sinclair. The windshield cracked due to improper mounting and there was a leak in the gas tank. Both issues were resolved without fuss. The removal of both items were done by my mechanic and all I did was forward digital images. Team-C sent a new windshield without delay. The tank was repaired by a local guy and Ross reimbursed me without delay as well. I think both problems could have/should have been caught at the factory (saving me a lot of heart ache). I vented my frustrations to both Brian (Team-C) and Ross, that while I didnt hold them personally responsible, that the home office should have been a little more diligent in the vehicle prep. But failing that, both Team-C and Ross have responded promptly to my concerns. I'm not an expert on these cars, or any other Cobra replica. However, judging by the other threads (sprperfm, ffr, em...) these types of problems appear par for the course. Ross has been gracious in every interaction I have had with him. By all accounts he appears very motivated to keep his customer base happy. I have no reason to feel he wont take care of your concerns as well. I hope all the problems are sorted out... Last Sunday I just had to take it for a quick spin - it was great! If you have any questions, please feel free to write me. Good Luck! Jong |
Bought a Venom back in July from Team-C-Racing.
Had a couple minor problems which i expected. They took care of everything, no questions asked. From talking to other friends who have bought or built a car this is very normal. We get a new car every 2 years here and always have some warranty work needed on them. Joeg |
Please respond to this if you can help me find a new piece of glass for my Venom. (windshield)

From what I understand, most, if not all, Cobras run the same windshield. If that is the case, you should be able to get one from Finishline.

Thanks for the quick reply. I just reviewed their site.

Does this win the prize of oldest resurrected thread or not? Almost 5 years has got to be worth something.

So whatever happened to them...did they ever go into buisness?

Help! I hjust bought a used 2004 Venom 427 and need to get info about what components are used in car so I can have it for future reference/replacement. Does anyone have a manual or list they could share.

It is very similar to the first gen. Backdraft. So you can get assistance through BDR directly or through dealers for what you may need.
