Another Ebay Scam

Is this another Ebay Scam????

Click HERE for the Ebay auction. In particular, notice the description of the car, it's body, and the seller boast "They currently sell 1400 cars a year and that will go up to about 4000 cars according to Discovery Channel estimates"................

Seems legit to me, another builder looking for customers. Would I hire him? NO WAY, the "attitude" presented in the ad leaves me very suspicous of his true ability.

The company he MAY be hooking up with selling 1400 "units" a year, 4000 projected?

WHAT are they actually selling? Inferred it is a Cobra replica, but I doubt it. Hard to believe 1400 let alone 4000.

Lot of hype, hard to say wether it's a scam. Might take MONTHS after you put down your deposit to find out!

Pegasus

I think Pegasus aka 427cobras promises a car in 8 weeks. However, I do not think this is their car.

What the hell does the Discovery Channel know about the replica market????

It might hold water if he used a reliable source....I don't know too many replica builders churning out 1400 - 4000 cars a year....do you?

What's dis boy smokin????

There are so many misspellings and poor usage it is simply laughable--nothing more.

So who does sell the most replicas per year? I would guess FFR? I'm sure it's no where near 1400 units though!

Well, heck, look at the seller's name: Worldowonders!
Sure, Pal.

I wonder who makes the kit.

I wonder whether I should be really "risky" and order the 392.

The transmission "...comes in automatic..."; wonder whether I should put in a "standard".

"Cobra stamps on everything..."; wonder whether I could get 'em to leave the stamps off the hood.

I wonder where that guy went with my money...

I don't think the whole freakin' Cobra industry sells 4,000 cars a year. Probably not even 1400 (?).

He quoted a future Discovery Channel show that hasn't aired yet when he mentioned 4000 cars. Even if he was more than their builder I doubt he would have the narrated script from the TV show's editors.
