Idle thought of an easy Ferrari "kill"...

Drive over to Los Gatos, California and just drive by the Ferrari dealer. You should be able to "kill" a dozen Ferraris (and a couple of Porsches and Lotuses, Loti?). They are easier to "kill" when they are parked and sleeping.

That is for sure Pete! My luck I would get an Enzo taking me up on the challenge!

I got a red 360 Spider on the way home from work yesterday. It was easy, I knew which lane moved faster on the 405. I must have passed him at about, oh, 25 mph! Where's my sticker?

How do you get a Ferrari driver to drive fast anyway, let alone race. Most owners are old guys that buy them for status and/or a shot of youth in the arm. And they usually have a woman in the passenger seat which means you're wasting your time.

Besides it isn't that big of a deal since we're comparing apples and oranges, you can get yourself a sport bike and do it. Ferraris are mass produced and have stict DOT rules, heavy ammeneties, and the ones you're talking about are GT cars made for the highway. Pick on a track Ferrari and see where it gets you.

You could make a stencil and paint it on the body-preferebly near the 427 badging and over the pipes. Sort of like the old fighter aces in WWII. Makes sense in a car that originally started out as the AC ACE.
AS to the Cobra v. Enzo, not an even race. I'm biased about my feelings for the Cobra, but the Enzo has 40+ yrs on it.

Rick,

You know, I remember that emblem looked more like a red prancing horse decal. It didn't have the yellow shield around it. But then, my car doesn't have the prerequisite number of rivets, either!

Just to let everyone know the pin arrived in a short time frame concidering it was coming from overseas. Everything was exactly as advertised and it looks to be a perfect size for what I am going to use it for. Enjoy!
