My son & I picked up my new (then) SPF from Doug Reed & drove it home from New Orleans to Dallas the next day- October 20, 1999. I have a bit over 13,000 miles on it & I hope the thrill never fades....& so far there is no chance of that!! John Russell |
Put my deposit down in November of 94, brought it home June 30, 1995 and had it registered and on the road June of 96. Don't ask me to do the math.

I've had mine 3 months. I've owned several corvettes new and old and nothing draws attention more than a cobra. I take it out for a spin almost every night the weather is great.

I got my kit in Feb of 1998.
It's in DV's shop for paint and final assembly right now. It should be back home by April 3rd (can't wait!!!!!!!) See pictures in my gallery if I can get them to load. |
I bought SPF #117 after 25 years of dreaming about one after watching The Gumball Rally as a youngster. I have a sneaky feeling I will keep it for a while although I have only owned it for 5 weeks.

Interesting subject. I bought the Arntz in 1981 as a basket case. I finally got it together in 1986 and spent 6 months getting it registered. Been improving it ever since. Wow, 23 years sure went by fast! Paul |
