Magnum 500 Wheel refurb
Has anyone done a refurb/restore job on Magnum 500 rims?
http://www.cadvision.com/dohyl/images/Wheels/M50.JPG I found that Eastwood has a "kit" with paint and stencils... has anyone used it? Did you strip the paint entirely? ..using what? Any and all tips appreciated. |
If the chrome is in good shape, I would strip the paint completely off and have someone powdercoat the black. Otherwise, strip, mask off with 3M fineline masking tape, and use Krylon #1613 semi-gloss black.
