Dyno day rates?

Dyno day rates?
My local Cobra club is considering doing a dyno day and we need some advice to negociate a good deal.
Do shops usually quote a group rate or do the give a per car discount for groups?
Any advice would be apprecaited.

Roger, the shop I use would give a discount for a group....I use Carl Grover Motorsports in Milton, WV....about a 2 hour and 15 minute drive from you...He has a chassis dyno and a couple of engine dynos. I had my Mustang GT dyno'd there along with my stroker engine that I built. I can provide you with a phone number if you need it.

Sorry....didn't answer your question....probably a discount per car. BTW, he uses a Mustang brand dyno...it will also account for drag due to air over the car and rolling drag...It will even estimate a 1/4 mile run for you. I'm told it's supposed to be accurate within a .1 second. It's a Mustang brand, so it will show about 15% lower than a Dynojet brand...I have the correction factor here though....
