tremec shifter suggestions
have a tremec 3550 , 5 speed with a 302 in a SV car,
gotta get a shifter, your suggestions please. finishline has a 427 shifter that will work but i'm not really excited about the fake reverse lockout finger pull. any suggestions appreciated. outlaw |

The Jordan shift lever is great. Not authentic. Secondstrike is the supplier for the Jordan shift lever. The polished stainless steel construction is a work of art.

I had a machine shop make a tapered shaft out of ss for me for $60. They milled two flats on one end and threaded the other. I drilled two holes to mount it to the Tremec, used a torch to bend the shaft to the angle I wanted (ss is tough stuff!), polished it up, and added a round $4 knob from McMaster-Carr. I can send a pic if you'd like to see it.

and royboy, where do i find secondstrike? can i use that with a dot come for a website? will look at the pro 5.0 shifters when done here. thanks for all the help guys. outlaw |
