Premier Cobras
Premier Motor Sports was in my home town last weekend for the World on Wheels auto show. I spent a lot of time talking with the boys from that shop and came away very impressed with both the engineering of the cars and the people that represent them.
I spent 4hrs with them on Fri. and my questions were always met with thought and patience. My son and I returned on Sun. morn. for another visit. After he talked with Bob Lockett and Mark and actually seeing a potential project his enthusiasm level went through the roof. We returned again on Sun. eve at the invitation of Mr. Lockett , this time with my wife in tow, to follow through on the offer of a ride after the show closed. These guys had been working hard all weekend, they still needed to load their booth out, and still took the time to give my family a ride in their display car. My son and I are headed up to their build facility in a couple of weeks. I still have yet to hear anything but glowing reports on this company, I will try to report on my visit after we return from the factory. Lineslinger |
We may have been working hard all weekend....and we were tired, but Club Members - I wish you could have witnessed the blatant affection this gentleman has for his son and vice versa. I can only hope when my son stands physically taller than his old man, he can put his hand on my shoulder and obviously be my best buddy.
In this case the show wasn't about a Cobra... it was about a father, a mother, and a wonderful son. We were priviledged to be a part of your weekend. And if Lineslinger and his family aren't what life is all about, then I simply don't have a clue about anything. Going to World of Wheels... $4,000. Price of the car in which they took a ride $67,000. Seeing the look on son's face when he rode in the car... priceless. Seeing that family together... all the wealth in the world. |
I wish all my car buying experiences could have the personal touch that Chuck, Bob, Mark, Rick and the rest of the crew at Premier demonstrate!
Lineslinger, they stopped by our home Monday after the show and shared a meal and some quality non-cobra time as well. They certainly are the kind of people I like to associate with! They are welcome in my home anytime! bh |
