Hi Guys,
They said it couldn't be done, but I have a never say die attitiude.
The crossmember was a piece of cake.
I am still working on headers, sidepipes and getting the trans to mate up. it may be a bit down on torque but I'm betting it will get outstanding gas milage.:D :D :D

Your subconscious has actually begun the conversion.........you are really a small block guy at heart "just trying to get out of the closet". The metamorphasis has begun.
It's a San Francisco "thing"

Actually the engine is full size. The car's body and frame was stretched to a wheelbase of 60 feet.

Took the easy way out, eh?;)

The power to weight ratio on those Cammers has always been awesome. Just think if he could have done it with an aluminum block!

petek 03-29-2004 09:10 AM

That car is HUGE! Makes the engine look tiny. I guess you don't have any problem with leg and foot room in the car. Is there seating for four? :)

bgiven 03-29-2004 04:40 PM

You could have one too......... www.stuartlittleracing.com !!!!!!

Edley Rondinone 03-29-2004 05:24 PM

Actually, there was an ERA Cobra with an aluminium-headed 427 SOHC at the latest Cobra Lunch in Ventura. So they DO exist! Sounde sweet, too!!! Seven-foot-plus of timing chain has a sound all its own!!

chopper 03-30-2004 08:29 AM

The engine is made out of an elephant foreskin. Just before the race, you rub on it and it expands to full size.

Fake Snake 03-30-2004 11:36 AM

Maybe you should consider a "Twin Mill" version of that Cobra! Looks like enough room! If one is good, surely two would be gooder!

RedBarchetta 03-30-2004 01:30 PM

Must be tough finding parts for that.... :D
