Good call KB. The seller is in the UK, the car is in TX, and the dealer's listed showroom is in NY.....hmmmm.

Looks like another stolen e-bay account.

That car was for sale on CC and on ebay a year or so ago. I believe the old owner is still here and has a new SPF. He posts every once in awhile. I remember because I thought about that car long and hard while I was looking and looked at those pictures at least once a day.

Most likely a SCAM!

Have a good one,
Dan

Its gone!!!

Started to do some research, noticed seller listed engine as 4 cylinder, picture showed Ford V8... Went to comments and noticed most of items bought & sold were dolls and collectibles... Went back to look at Cobra and item is gone... For sure a scam...

They need to start treating these eBay scammers like hardened criminals. Then it should stop. 'Course, without all the scams, we'd be short a few threads on club cobra...

Methinks the scammer might have started logging into Club Cobra.

Remember the thread involving Dan Semko's exchanges with a scammer last week? He was using a picture of the CSX Dan recently sold. He started threatening and Dan turned them over to the FBI. He freaked when told of the website tracking all these scams and asked for the address.

Hmmm again.....seems like he might be picking up tips around here, because this time, he dropped the "pre-approved bidder" format, which has also been the topic of much discussion.

I went to look at what you guys are talking about and the item is gone!
