Tire Flat Spots
Anyone having problems with car sitting for long periods of time and developing flat spots on tires? How do you prevent? I saw some yellow jelly type pads a few years back that were supposed to prevent it.

Here are two easy alternatives...
Once a week, roll the car forward or rearward 1/4 tire rotation. Increase tire inflation to minimize your contact patch size or... (this is what I do).... Put the car up on jackstands for prolonged storage. This will also unload your springs and keep them fresh. These are the best ways to deal with flat spots. |
