Real Auction on eBay?
Does anyone know if this car on eBay is a real car or another fake offshore auction?

It's a Contemporary, Jag IRS, 427 top oiler.
No reserve leaves me VERY skeptical this is a serious sale. My guess is the seller will not complete the deal if the price isn't high enough. He'll just blow off e-bay and contact bidders AFTER the sale. This ASSUMES of course this a "real" car and a "real" seller. Something is NOT right about this deal. Ernie |
I believe I have seen this car on eBay before which makes me very sceptical. I would contact the sellerr before I got too exicted about this opportunity!
Very Nice car! One of us should contact the seller and let him know that some here at CC have questions about this action being legit. If this is a legit auction I am sure the seller would love to respond and get some much need publicity here at CC. |
I have sent an e-mail to the seller expressing my concerns about this deal. Haven't heard back yet.

I have never seen a replica cobra with 89,000 miles, let alone areal one. Car looks like it held up pretty good with all those miles.

The telephone number listed in their "Show Room" is bogus. This has GOT to be scam.

Some people have big miles on their Cobra, I know ONE guy who does here in Hawaii.
Make no mistake, it IS very rare for a Cobra to have "big" miles on it. |
