Toploader Transmission
Anybody have a link or diagram of how to set the linkages on a toploader transmission?

Loosen up the linkages.
Put everything in neutral. Slide a 1/4 inch drill bit into the 1/4 inch hole in the lever arms. (Just below the big round pin with the spring on it.) When all of the arms line up through the hole, tighten up the linkage. PULL OUT THE 1/4 INCH DRILL BIT. Your linkage is now adjusted properly. David:) :) :) |
