Some undercar exhaust questions

Hey guys....thinking about going to an undercar setup....possibly just running some short pipes through some Dynomax or Borla round mufflers and exiting with a turnout just in front of the rear wheels...I have a few questions....

1. You Kirkham guys with undercar exhausts....they're routed under the frame rails, right? Have you had any problems with ground clearances?

2. Do you use a crossover pipe? If not, wouldn't the exhaust through mufflers sound just like sidepipes?

3. Is it hotter to drive?

4. Does anyone know of a collector that will change a 4 tube header into a 4 into 1 and allow a slip flange for exhaust pipe?

I'd like a setup like the following pics.....(Courtesy of Kirkham Motorsports website and Cobra Country)

Take a look at the gallery photos from Tom Wells, a CC member, for a detail of how he installed an undercar exhaust like your considering.
