Classic Roadster vs. B and B Kit
Anyone have any experience or an opinion about CR II or B and B. I am looking at kits from both places. The CRII interests me because I their kit seems to be a little bigger in the cockpit area. I'm 6'2" and I understand that the original Cobra's were designed for people 5'8" or less.

Never been in a classic roadster, but I have been in Brian's B&B...I am 6 ft 1 and weigh in at a nice little 275..OK maybe 280 lbs. His car was a great fit...better than my new Superformance, and the only other car I've sat in, Upton's car.
I think it is a comfy car. I wish I had that fit for the 500+ mile drive home on Tues. Buzz |
I have a CR and it is certainly roomier than most other kits I have seen. Not sure how well it accomodates larer folk as I stand at 5'10". The guy I did buy it from was 6'3". Never seen the B&B before.

Buzz,
Call me tonight maybe I can help you get your car home. I have an enclosed trailer. Clois |
Thanks Clois,
but that is the Tues that just went by..already got her home. Drove 500 miles straight through. With the seat rails stuck in a FORWARD position. Fixed that today. A little sun burnt (OK a lot)...but she is home. Wanna see her! Thanks for the offer tho...dang nice for the offer Buzz |
I did forget that I sat in Clois' car...but he has his seat fixed for racin'....

Thanks Buzz and Curt, I top out around 240 but I have pretty long legs. I just don't want to end up with something painful to drive. I did talk to one of the guys at B & B and he thinks I will be OK in one of their kits, but then again, he is trying to sell kits. That is why I though some insight from some of you folks who know the cars and the manufacturers better than I do would be a help. I appreciate any help I can get.
