Cabs cobra

Hi LMH,

That is one sharp cobra Cab Is working on!!

Have to say I'm envious too.

Still researching cobra kits. Doesn't look like a lot of manufactures are going to the Knotts Berry Farm shin-dig. At least not the ones I was interested in at this point. May pass that up this year and hunt some down in my area (Washington state.)

I've never been but I guess London is the biggie for manufacture displays. Do a search on it for more about where and when. Might be worth the trip.

I would have to agree. Not only do they have quite a few different manufacturers, but the ability to see so many makes parked right in the middle of the street, side by side, front to back. Then you can pay $10 for charity, and ride in one.

Hi George,
B&B Mfg. makes a nice cobra too. You can put any engine/trans in their cobra, can make any stage you want .
The website is www.bandbroadster.com and you can call 417/472/3547 and talk to Bryan .

hurricane

We just dynoed the BB ford at 700hp and 700ft lbs. Plus 150hp NOS. Had to move motor mounts back half an inch to acommadate march belt system.
We are using a hurricane frame but modified it with gussets and two more cross members and a complete aluminium consel and dash.

George you might want to go to the Western States Cobra Bash in Sparks Nevada in May to look at a bunch of different brands in one place. There is a link on this site that will give you all the info. It would be a great chance to look at as well as talk to owners about their experiance building the cars.

Good luck in your search,

Dick

George,

If you have your motor and transmission already, I would check out Backdraft or Superformance, as they come roller ready.

A 429 with a C6 would be a nice fit in a Classic Roadster, a to often over looked great kit to build.

Is the 429 an older motor, and the c6 an auto. (Classic Roadster)? I aminterested in why you like that combonation. Someone else told me the same thing with no explnation.

I am new and looking for a kit, hey I was born in Hawaii and still have several generations of family there.
