I do not have a Video Recorder. But my digital "camera" takes QuickTime movies. There are 3 different settings when recording a movie. At the lowest pixel setting, the movie is the grainiest of all, but has the max length. Conversely, at the highest pixel setting, it takes the best quality movie, but it has the shortest length of recording time. Is there different settings in your Video Recorder? What kind (type) of memory card do you use? If its a compact flash card, I have some left over that I used with my OLD camera. My new camera uses a smaller sized memory card, so the old ones are useless to me, and I could mail some to you! |
My solution is not nearly as pretty as most but I have found it to be very effective and dirt cheap. I use PVC pipe mounted to my roll bar. I was able to play wih all kinds of desigs because it is so easy to work with. I have never had any problems with vibration either. I took the T fitting and cut it in half and then mounted it to the roll bar with a piece of leather between the inside of the T and outside of the roll bar. I am sure rubber would work as well. I have two different mounts, one comes straight down from the roll bar as shown if you look close. The other comes down and forward for more of a drivers view. Just depends I want view I prefer for the day. Total cost was a few bucks.
I concur that making a cobra video without a remote microphone is a waste of time. |
