E-Brake pictures please

Hello all,
I am currently using the Wilwood E- brake caliper that is separate from the rear caliper. I am hoping that someone is using a simular setup for their E-Brake. If not please if you have post some pictures of your e brake setup. Or did you guys just say the hell with the ebrake? :confused: |

I have the same setup on my Cobra. I'll take some pictures when I get home tonight. I will post them on my gallery and let you know when they are there. I do not have the cables hooked up to them yet but you will get an idea on how they bolt up. Terry |

I have them bolted up but I dont like the way they work. I have the Lokar handle mounted on the side of the tunnel and the cable that came from Everett Morrison. I am trying to figure out if it is the leverage from the handle on the side or the cable supplied by EM. Is your handle mounted on the side? If so can you provide some pics of that also. Thanks |
E brake photo
Hello, Here is a photo of the wilwood ebrake on my CSX4000 suspension. The caliper is on the front of the upright and the ebrake on the rear. I fabricated the bracket out of 1/4" mild steel and I will have it CNC machined out of 6061 aluminum for the final product. regards, karl

Are you using the Lokar small handle mounted on the side or the longer Lokar handle mounted to the floor? |

hello, yes, small handle and it is the original style side mount that bolts to the bracket that is welded to the chassis. i hope this helps. regards, karl

My Cobra is a Classic Roadsters and my e-brake is between my seats on top of the tunnel. It is not installed yet. Look in my gallery and there is a picture of my Wilwood e-brake setup at the rotors. |

As far as cable for the Ebrake, is everyone using the Lokar cable?
Also my setup is a the 8.8 rear independent with the Lokar small handle. I am thinking of changing the bracket. Looking for some ideas. Also, does anyone have this setup working and does it work well. |

I am not sure if Kirkham will sell Ebrake parts if you did not buy their kit. Hopefully more pics will start pouring in. |

Here's the one that came on my Superformance. It's the deal to the right of the red fuel filter and gas line. There's a disk on the drive shaft for the pads to grip.

I had the TSM mfg pinion brake on my car and had to take it off. The disk isn't very tough and got out of alignment (probably due to tightening of the bolts). It made a lot of noise rattling against the caliper. I now have to find a better solution like the Wilwood unit but not sure I can get one to work with my full-floater rear-end.
