Not cherry anymore . . .

but ok.

Yesterday took a 50 mile drive to a neighboring town to see a car show, on the way home ran out of gas.

Then, went to the car show in Durango. It started to sprinkle so I jogged two blocks to the car and made a run for home. By the second traffic light "we" were drenched!

Guess I don't need to be afraid to drive it anymore . . . .

2100lbs + plenty of ponies =WOOT!

I ran my FFR out of gas twice close to home while going for cart rides. Also have got cought in the rain twice. After the first time its not so bad.

You still have to go through your first snow storm to lose the cherry status...

:) :) :)

I love the title. how funny!

So how many mishaps constitute 'losing the cherry'??

Out of gas- once (once was enough where i ran out!!! )
flat tires- two (track events, easy fix, not too tough)
parades-one
rock chips- oh sadness. too many to count.
repaint pipes- several times
not place in a car show- (a few, :o  )

welcome to the club that drives their car!!!

rain

Its not suppost to rain in the great NW in Aug. Went on my first trip with the NW Cobra club to MT Raniner. The late great Keith Lyles {we all miss you Keith} and myself came over from the Kitsap penninsula accross the Narrows bridge at Tacoma Wa. It was a great day and then the rain came down about 3pm I headed for home there was a wreck on the Narrow bridge there we sat in the rain for 2hrs. I got lots of hi fives. then two guys roll up to Keith and I as we started moving roll there window and side you guys are way to cool. The Cobra did better in rain then I thought it would even with the street slicks on.
Now the guys that drove home from the 2006 Reno bash thru Oregon and Northern Calif realy saw some rain.

Yup... the first one hurts. 43,000 miles and counting. You've got to get caught in the rain to get the bugs off!

Not funny.

today's riddle: Why is a Cobra like a penis?

Its only fun if you take it out and play with it.
