Peterson's Remote Oil Relief Valve

I am thinking about fitting one of these so l can externally adjust the oil pressure which I feel is a little too high in my 400ci sbc.

lt is approx. 50 psi at idle, about 80 when cruising and over 90 when booting it.

Has anyone used one? Do they work? Any fitting tips? Where/how are they plumbed in (I know it requires a return feed back to the pan)?

I guess this means no-one has had experience of them?
