help? looking to rent a cobra?

hi, im looking to rent a cobra for the day, hell maybe even a few hours or an hour, i am just looking to see whats available around the Detroit area. it is my fathers 60th birthday coming up and he drools every time he talks about the fabled snake. i am asking anyone out there who may be so inclined to help me out? im trying to find the car for him, im sure even an hour would make him a very happy dad

That's like asking to rent your girlfriend for an hour to make my father happy.:MECOOL:

If there are any car shows in you area frequented by Cobra guys, there is a good chance that someone would take your dad for a short spin! :D
On the other hand, if your girlfriend also wants a ride, certainly the spin would be much longer!

i dont know how the girlfreind got mixed up in the quest for the car, but if you really want her, 100$ a spin, and i dont mean around the block ;)

getcheffy,

By the way, how about posting some pics of the girlfriend before any of us shell out the $100? http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f8...es/tongue2.gif

Don't mind us, we just like to joke around. Someone will probably PM you to help you out - keep an eye out in the upper right corner of the screen.

GetCheffy, Try Hertz. They have the new Shelby 500GT KR available.

trularin 06-16-2007 03:18 PM

When?

I am 20 minutes from Troy. I am not willing to let you have my car for a while, but I might consider given your father a drive.

:D

trularin 06-16-2007 03:19 PM

Send me a PM with your number. I'll call you.

Does he have a good heart?

:D

Here is a well written article from the Wall Street Journal (posted Friday) as to why you can have someone take your father for a ride, but also why it's unlikely someone will just allow your father to drive their Cobra.

Before you or anyone else loans out your car, check your insurance. Mine only covers ME and NOBODY else.
