Has anyone heard of a company in Oregon that makes a 289 flat fender car? I think the company is called JCS. Thanks for the help.

I believe you would be searching for "JCF" info , or more properly "John's Custom Fabrications" I believe. If so last I heard they were located in Coos Bay, OR area.

They make slab side 289 styles and 427 s/c models, custom wheelbase lengths too if needed . There have been some threads here about them , some more recent as I recall suggesting they build a fine product but that their delivery timing is later vs sooner.

In fairness to my faltering memory and JCF recollection, do a SEARCH here on cc to see what you get . The JCF owner's son replied to a couple of JCF posts several mos ago so I know they used to scan CC .

There is a silver JCF slab side 289 car with chrome wire spokes from Mich that I have seen at the LCS in Ohio. I never saw the owner to talk to him but I looked closely at the car and it was very well done .

Here is the silver slabside mentioned. The owners are from St. Josephs, Michigan and offered my friend a ride at LCS 07 which just made his year!

Great folks and a great car.

I have a JCF which I built mostly myself. Several owners of real 289s thought it was a real one. See at CENTECHWIRE site. Click on catalog and then kit cars.

Jon,

Great looking slabside! I have always been a sucker for a nicely done SS. Do these cars have a 3" round tube frame with IRS? Most that I have seen are not that accurate inside?
Jeff

No, the JCF frame is rectangular tube. It is a very stiff frame.
