I recently passed on three Cobras (one 427 SC, one 289 FIA and a 260 that had less then 5,000 miles) cause the seller raised the price OVER 100 dollars!!!!!!!!!!!!

This kinda crap cannot be tolerated!!!!!

The real buyer took the motors out and scrapped the bodies as they were made out of something less strong than steel.

I know where there is a barn with six more.....

Shoot, that's nothing. There's some ole piece of English car sitting in my dad's barn in Kentucky. Those English guys can't even spell, they just put some kinda initials on it, some kinda Type E or something. Heck who would want this piece of junk, hood is so long you could never park it, and it's dented up in front. And those junky ass wire wheels are covered in cob webbs. Anybody wants this thing just come and get it..... And if this doesn't interest you, I got this here English bridge sittin down in Butcher Holler that you might want.

Here in downtown England we got plenty of spare bridges - just tell us what you want and we can supply....other than Tower Bridge of course! Although we can knock out a very nice replica!

Wallace - you made actual money from publishing? Wow....

Has anyone heard the one about the guy that purchased a pair of bullet side mirrors for his kit cobra from a old bloke in country Victoria.
This old bloke has a shop that sells old British car parts.
The guy that purchased the side mirrors was concerned that he wouldnt be able see anything past the rear guards on his cobra.
As the story goes the bloke selling the mirrors said that he had a old cobra in the back shed that he could check the mirroes on.
So they did, the guy thinking this was going to be another kit car.
But this was no kit ,it was a ORIGINAL 1964 SC427.
So the story goes, is it true, who knows the car may still be there.

'65 maybe, not a '64 unless it was a 289, but hey, it makes a good story. :D
